How to lose body fat is a question many people are asking. Oftentimes, those same people believe losing fat is impossible so they don’t even try.
Fat loss isn’t all that difficult, especially if you have a few tricks up your sleeve. By tricks I don’t mean I want you testing out a dangerous, radical approach to your fat loss but only one that would be safe and healthy and show great results at the same time.
I’ve had many clients, friends, and family members ask me, "Isabel, is there a way I can drop my first few pounds of fat quickly and easily?" Yes, there is. It will require a few dietary changes on your part, but the results can be astounding. I’ve had hundreds of people use these very tips with great success, easily losing their first 10 to 15 pounds of unwanted fat.
Here are my 3 Simple and Easy Rules on How to Lose Body Fat…
1. Avoid eating anything that is white. Name a food that’s white and chances are you shouldn’t be eating it: bread, pasta, crackers, most cereals, flour based products, white potatoes, white rice, and pasteurized dairy and cheese are all no-no’s. The exceptions to the Don’t-Eat-White-Stuff rule would be cauliflower, chicken, turkey, fish and pork.
2. Only drink water, NOTHING else! You should try to drink around 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water each day (ex. If you weigh 200 lbs, you need to drink 100 ounces). I know, I know, adding that much water intake is a stretch for most of you. If you add more water to your diet it will help you burn more fat.
Question: What about us coffee drinkers, what are we supposed to do? To keep any possible withdrawal headaches at bay, I suggest drinking one small cup of organic black coffee per day. Can you add half and half creamer to your coffee? Is it white? Better avoid it. Get used to the flavor of coffee without doctoring it up with creamers and sugars.
3. Don’t eat anything with the word wheat in the ingredients list. What if it’s whole wheat? Look, if the word starts with "W" and ends in "T" and has the letters "h" "e" "a" in between, you shouldn’t eat it. This includes bread, pasta, crackers and cereal.
Note: Many packaged snack foods also contain wheat so be sure to read the ingredients list carefully. I was surprised recently to discover that "Twizzlers" licorice sticks have wheat in them.
