If you’ve made any progress at all it’s not time to give up. You just need to get re-energized with a few weight loss motivation tips!

Before I give you the tips you need to remember that losing weight is more like a long journey than a short racetrack sprint. Fat isn’t going to melt off of your body like butter in a hot stove no matter what the fast weight loss liars promise. It just doesn’t happen that way. It takes effort, discipline and time. Oh yea, and motivation…

1. Try a new workout routine. Try a new workout routine. Instead of 20 minutes on a stationary bycicle try running to lose weight. Or switch the bicycle for 30 minutes on a treadmill. Different exercises cause you to use different muscles and your body will respond positively in new and healthy ways.

Weight toss tip number two: image of woman lifting weights2. Incorporate some weight lifting. One of the biggest mistakes people make when attempting to lose weight is to avoid weight training. Healthy weight loss isn’t just the removal of fat it is also the addition of muscle.

I’m not suggesting that you become a bodybuilder. I just want you to add some simple weight lifting to increase the speed at which you lose weight. Weight lifting will help you burn more calories and make you look and feel better. Perfect weight loss motivators.

3. Try out some new weight loss recipes. There are thousands of tasty recipes that you can try that will not only help you burn fat but also help you enjoy yourself more while doing it.

In addition to the recipe idea you should also substitute good food for the bad food you may be eating. A simple example is to eat an apple rather than drinking apple juice. The apple is better for you because it fills you up faster than juice does and provides much needed fiber in your diet.

4. Eat smaller portion sizes. Wait a second! How does eating smaller portions qualify as a weight loss motivation tip? Here’s why, by eating less food at each meal you will lose more weight. The sooner you see the scale register less weight when you stand on it the more motivated you will be about your weight loss program.

5. Eat out less – cook in more. Eating healthy foods that you prepare are not only better for you than restaurant food but a lot cheaper too. With the right combination of spices you can make food taste fantastic and give your taste buds something to look forward to without being overloaded with calories.

Weight loss motivation tip number 7: image of footprints on beach6. Find a weight loss coach or partner. A weight loss coach or hired fitness professional is definitely more costly than going it alone. But on average, having a coach or weight loss partner helps keep you on track.

Assuming you can’t afford a coach then at least find a person of like mind who can help provide encouragement and motivation on your down days.

7. Take a day off. Pamper yourself to a special meal or movie. Or maybe just take a long relaxing walk along a beach.

With a combination of the right weight loss foods, exercise and motivation you will achieve your ideal weight. It’s merely a matter of time.

To your healthy weight loss,
